What is basically the difference between Windows Photo Gallery and Windows “Live” Photo Gallery?

I just downloaded the Windows Live suite on my new laptop (which has Vista Ultimate). I had thought the suite would skip the installation of Photo Gallery and Mail as they’re already present in Vista. However, it went on with the installation and now I’ve Windows Photo Gallery as well as Windows “Live” Photo Gallery. Same with Windows Mail and Windows “Live” Mail. What is basically the difference between the two? Are the Live equivalents better / inferior in some respects? Thanks.

Windows Photo Gallery is a photo management, tagging, and editing tool &and Windows “Live” Photo Gallery is simply an upgraded version of W.P.G.
