Miami in Dallas Fusion Fashion Show to hit Dallas Market

ABOUT THE EVENT:

The Miami in Dallas Fusion Fashion show is a very unique event coming to Dallas on May 8, 2010. It will be one of the largest and most prestigious fashion shows to hit Dallas, TX and will celebrate minority and female artists. A portion of the proceeds will also go to benefit the Zacarias Guerra House in Nicaragua. There will be several celebrity appearances including Jade Monfils who is the current Texas Perfect Miss and former Miss Texas International, Kelli Ansley, Miss Dallas International, Rachael Lynée Burns, Miss Fort Worth, Angela Pollard, Mrs. Tarrant County, Gwen Berrie, Miss San Angelo, and others.

The fashion show will take place on the rooftop of the Mosaic in Dallas, featuring some of North Texas’ most exotic models as well as celebrity designers from around the world. This will be the hottest runway in all of North Texas this year where guests will have the opportunity to witness some of the latest and most stylish fashion trends. From swimwear to formalwear, and lingerie to casual wear, this will be the show to see for the fashion guru or designer at heart. The Miami in Dallas Fusion Fashion Show will also showcase industry professionals who have sponsored this event. It will be a night of grandeur as well as a major networking opportunity for anyone in attendance.

ABOUT THE ZACARIAS GUERRA HOUSE:

The Zacarias Guerra House is an orphanage for troubled and abandoned children in Nicaragua. The House offers shelter, education, and a family atmosphere to children who have nowhere else to go. After entering the house, children typically stay until they turn 18. While in residence, all of the needs of the child are attended to including nutrition, medical, housing, education, and spiritual. The home offers counseling services and directs a follow-up program for those who graduate. The attractive 80-acre grounds include dormitories, a cafeteria, recreation room, classrooms, and a computer lab. Everything at the House is donated, and the staff sometimes cannot afford the cost of upkeep for donated equipment.
